CLAIMS PROCEDURES

You can ask assistance from Euro Assistance line at 0212 276 38 38 upon occurrence of a loss.  The following documents should be submitted to our company so that your claim can be handled as soon as possible.

DOCUMENTS NEEDED IN LOSS PAYMENTS (in fire losses)

  1. Certified fire brigade report; the insured’s statement in writing if the fire brigade has not come
  2. Verdict of non-prosecution of the Public Prosecutor
  3. Meteorology and observatory reports in windstorm and earthquake losses
  4. Accident reports in car collision losses
  5. Deed register certificates of buildings, and letters given by the Office of the Register of Deeds, indicating that there are no seizures, mortgages or any other records on the building, and if any, certificates of consent of those who order to establish such records, in respect of building losses 
  6. Statements of the insured and certificates arranged by the relevant competent bodies about the occurrence of losses in respect of claims related to the coverage provided as an additional peril to the Fire Insurance policy 
  7. Photographs showing damaged parts

Payments for Material Damages in Traffic losses

  1. Traffic accident reports indicating the percentage of faults and “reports for traffic accidents with material damages” arranged by drivers
  2. Alcohol reports of the insured vehicle operator
  3. Registration certificates of the damaged vehicle
  4. Driving license of the persons operating the damaged vehicle
  5. Photographs showing damaged parts

Payments for bodily injuries in Traffic losses

  1. Injury
    • Traffic expert reports showing the percentage of faults
    • Documents related to the treatment expenses incurred (such as bills, prescriptions)
    • A final hospital report indicating the extent of disablement to be obtained from a general hospital if a disablement is the case
    • An official certificate (such as an indictment by the public prosecutor) which indicates that he/she has been injured in the accident if the accident report does not state that he/she has been injured
  2. Death
    • Traffic expert reports showing the percentage of faults
    • Certificates of determination of heirship
    • Certificates of register identity copies
    • Certificates indicating the latest earned income of the deceased (such as payrolls)
    • Official certificates (such as an indictment by the Public Prosecutor) indicating that the person has died in the accident if the accident report does not stated that he has died

Motor Own Damages

  1. Originals or copies of the traffic accident report
  2. Originals or copies of the alcohol report
  3. Statements of the driver when no accident reports are arranged
  4. Copies, or originals, when necessary, of the registration certificate of the insured vehicle 
  5. Copies of the driving licenses of the insured vehicle operators.
  6. Reports of the fire brigade, if any, in fire losses, or written statements and photographs taken by existing means in the place of the incident if the fire has been extinguished by own facilities.  
  7. Deeds of consent of persons who have placed records “mortgaged” and “inalienable” on the licenses
  8. Photographs showing damaged parts

In respect of stealing losses

  • Arrangements of reports indicating that the vehicle has been stolen after applying to the police station of the place where the vehicle has been stolen.
  • A letter to be submitted from our company if the car has not been found at the expiry of 30 days following the stealing of the vehicle, and a letter indicating that the vehicle has not been found upon an application made to the car theft police authorities of the second division of the Police Department,
  • A certificate which will be submitted from the traffic branch office where the vehicle is registered and which indicates that the vehicle’s registration has been removed from records because of the stealing of the vehicle
  • Certificates of clearance and of removal from registration to be obtained from Tax Offices 

Personal Accident

  1. Accident Report
  2. Death report
  3. Certificates of determination of heirship
  4. Certificates of register identity copies
  5. Final committee reports to be obtained from a general hospital in case of disablement.
  6. Documents of treatment expenses if a treatment expenses coverage is provided (such as bills, prescriptions)
